Jennifer Tilly, born on September 16, 1958 at Los Angeles under extremely poor conditions. Her mother was a schoolteacher and an unsuccessful actor, while her father sold automobiles. Jennifer was the youngest of her family's four children often accompanied her mother to performances in the theater and was awed by her. Jennifer's parents separated when she was five. Jennifer spent the bulk of her youth living in British Columbia, after her mother relocated there with their four children. Jennifer did not attend school although as a kid she was extremely artistic. As a result of her education in the public schools of Canada, Jennifer was the subject of a lot of bullying. When her enthusiasm for theatre began to fade as she entered high school, she began participating in plays with her mother. Her mother inspired all of her children to discover a passion for the arts. Then she took immediate actions.
