Srushti began to prepare herself for her UPSC examination during her 3rd year as an engineering student. After her graduation, she questioned whether she was able to be satisfied working in an engineering position. Then she realized that her ideal job would be within the civil service, and she decided to pursue this. Parents encouraged her to become civil servants and seek a job in the public service. She stayed motivated and focused only on becoming the IAS officer. For UPSC to be achieved, more hard work is required. She believes that focusing is essential to crack the exam of government and becoming an officer in the civil service.
